How to increase your sex drive.

If you have a low sex drive your not alone. There are 100's of millions of people who spend billions each year to achieve a better sex drive. A proven natural way for both men and women to achieve a higher sexual drive and more rewarding relationship is given below.

DOPAMINE. Low Dopamine level = low sex drive! Fact

Dopamine is a natural hormone produced in the human brain which is often referred to as "the happy hormone" It is responsible for feelings of pleasure and plays an important part in regulating your mood, emotions, ability to deal with stress, anxiety levels and sleep patterns. And as we all know, these can diminish your sexual drive, especially mood and stress.
Dopamine levels also enhance your decision-making ability and control cravings. Related to the amount of pleasure a human experiences, higher dopamine levels can be beneficial in developing better social skills.
Poor nutrition, including a high intake of junk foods and fizzy drinks, often leads to moodiness, sluggish behaviour and lethargy which will drastically affect your sex drive. However, eating the correct foods can seriously boost your mood and sexual drive by naturally increasing your dopamine levels.

The importance of this naturally produced chemical in maintaining a healthy sexual relationship cannot be stated highly enough. As dopamine rises, so does testosterone, the hormone that fuels sexual desire in both men and women.

There are many popular over-the-counter supplements but, you can increase your dopamine levels quite naturally.

  • Include ripe bananas as part of your daily diet. As a banana matures, it produces dopamine quinine, a naturally occurring form of dopamine. Although small brown areas on the fruit indicate bruising, these portions also contain the highest levels of dopamine. So within reason, the riper the banana the better.
  • Amino acids such as tyrosine and phenylalanine help to produce dopamine and are found in cottage cheese, soy, yogurt, dark chocolate and turkey meat.
  • Reduce your intake of foods high in sugar and saturated fats, as these will deplete your dopamine levels.
  • Supplement your diet with foods rich in antioxidants. Free radicals lower dopamine levels in the body, and antioxidants eliminate free radicals. Most vegetables and fruits contain some antioxidants, with red beans, tomatoes, blueberries, cranberries, artichokes, prunes and strawberries topping the list.
  • Three antioxidant vitamins are beta-carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E. They exist in colourful fruits and vegetables with purple, blue, red, orange, and yellow colours
  • Watermelon are magic!. The juice from a watermelon is fat-free and full of vitamins A, B6, and C. Vitamin B6 is used by your body in the manufacturing of neurotransmitters such as melatonin, serotonin and dopamine. Great for increasing your sex drive.
  • EXERCISE.The easy and fast way to increase dopamine levels is through exercise. Exercise even in a small way produces a "natural high" because it causes the brain to release Dopamine. Do an exercise you enjoy and do it regularly for 30 minutes four times a week you will be amazed how it will raise your mood and sex drive

TOP TIP: Sprinkle sesame seeds on salads and sandwiches for a jump-start to your dopamine levels.

CONCLUSION: Cut down on those fizzy drinks loaded with sugar (try a glass of watermelon juice) and junk food full of saturated fats, do some exercising (not sexercising), eat a ripe banana, tomato or blueberries each day. Your dopamine levels and your sex drive will soar putting a renewed twinkle in yours and your partners eyes. In addition, you will feel so much healthier, happier and vitalised.
